Synopsis
The Blue Bell End Players are putting on a new play for their local village. With Pam at the helm directing the fledgling cast with an iron fist. Tracey, the caretaker, has been auditioning for the past 2 decades and has finally been cast, however on opening night she mistakenly locks everyone out of the dressing room… again.
As the cast start to arrive the relationships between them become clear. Pat and Michael are back, with Michael still very much under Pat’s thumb, only this time, Pat’s mother Clarice is coming on board as the new prompt. Felicity, the snooty cast member has had enough of the group and wonders why she has decided to do another play. Dale is still struggling with his nerves, Chelsea is still creating melodrama, David is still yet to embrace a deodorant stick, and Deborah the newest member has the hots for Michael, much to Pat’s dismay. All seems to be going smoothly until the audience start to arrive and disrupt the production.
Once the play finally gets going, you’ll be transported back to the 1920’s and submerged into a thrilling murder mystery, but will everything go to plan? Will the cast remember their lines? Relationships spill over into their performances and cause havoc, as the bumbling detective attempts to solve the murder, but will it be as straight forward as he was expecting?
Steve Barker’s new farce comedy is sure to have you laughing in your seats. Enjoy a great night with the Centralian Players new comedy.
